Message from Maddy
As summer approaches, we're preparing for fun outdoor activities! To ensure your child's safety, we kindly ask
you to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes. Please note that flip-flops are not considered
safe for school due to their potential to cause slips and falls during active play. We're also planning water play in
the coming days and months, so it's important to check your childs cubby and ensure an extra change of clothes is
available. In the event that your child doesn't have a change of clothing, we'll contact you to bring one as soon as
possible, understanding that this may not always be convenient.
The Spring Family Survey for 2025 is in. All participating families who completed the survey were either 100%
very satisfied. The families reported that their child enjoys participating in the program, the program promotes
their childs learning and development, and the staff meet their child's individual needs. Some comments received
were We are so glad our daughter is in your program.Suggestions on how to improve our program included: It
would be nice to have more keepsakes." Family participation is key to the success of our program. We greatly ap-
preciate the support that families give to our program, whether it is attending special events, occasionally taking
home laundry, or donating items they notice on our Wish List. The two main reasons why families choose our pro-
gram is for socialization and the child-to-teacher ratio. We're grateful to the families who have been our ambas-
sadors, sharing their positive experiences of our program. Your word of mouth is the most powerful form of ad-
vertisement, and appreciate your support. If you know someone who could benefit from our high-quality childcare,
low child-to-teacher ratio and our dedicated, educated staff, please let them know we still have openings in our
program for our next session to start July 7th, 2025.
Don't forget to mark your calendar for Thursday, June 26th. This day is not to be missed! The school will
close at 12 to host the Promotion Program for all the children. This event, held in the Sanctuary, is a significant
milestone for our children and their families. A Social will follow in Criswell Hall. Look for the Sign-Up Sheet to
donate items for the social and help with setup or cleanup.
'Visiting Days' will be from June 23-25. During this time, children will have the opportunity to visit their new
classrooms from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., which will help them prepare for the new school year starting Monday, July 7,
2025.
The school will be closed for Summer Break from June 30 to July 4, 2025. Thank you again for choosing

Ms. Swatis TK
I cannot believe its June. Time flies. Children
are getting ready to transition into kindergarten.
Some children will be joining us for the summer.
We have learned and grown so much this year.
During May, the children learned about the
lifecycle of butterflies and the body parts of a
butterfly. So, ask your children about the four
stages of a butterfly cycle. The children were
shocked to discover that butterflies taste with
their feet. Many children said, "That's funny,
what if we tasted with our feet?We learned a
lot about bugs through educational videos and
books, including fun facts about spiders, crick-
ets, ladybugs, and praying mantises. Children ob-
served the preserved bugs using a magnifying
glass and came up with interesting com-
ments. They liked the big bugs matching board.
Children used a variety of blocks to make bug
houses. Children made beautiful flower arrange-
ments from the dramatic play area and decorat-
ed tables for snacks and lunch. They also made
special for were made and we planted seeds as
well.
For June, we will be learning about frogs and
their life cycle. Children will explore camping in
the dramatic area. We will review numbers,
shapes, and letters, such as number recognition
and writing out the numbers, identifying shapes
and sides/ corners, identifying letters/sounds,
and writing the letters. We will also practice our
promotion song to celebrate this special day for
all the TK children transitioning to kindergarten,
and have our Promotion Program on June 26th -
how exciting! ~ Ms. Swati
Ms. Liz Preschool Class
This month, we are preparing for our big Grad-
uation celebration. Children will be practicing
song for Graduation. We have been discussing
the upcoming changes, as children will be tran-
sitioning into Ms. Swatis classroom and other
school programs. During Welcome Week, chil-
dren will visit their new classroom and become
familiar with the new environment. We are
working on reviewing the alphabet, shapes, col-
ors, and numbers. I want to thank all the fami-
lies for spoiling us with wonderful gifts, cards,
plants, and special notes during Teacher Ap-
preciation Week. It made me feel so special,
and I felt greatly appreciated. Ms. Maddy and
I will be working on tie-dye shirts that chil-
dren will wear on graduation. If any parents
would like to help us this year with tie-dyeing
shirts for a day or two, that would be ex-
tremely helpful!
It has been an incredible year, and it's hard to
believe that the school year is coming to an
end. Our children are all unique and ready to
embark on their Pre-K journey. Some of them
will be moving on to the Transitional Kindergar-
ten with the district. I have cherished and en-
joyed each and every one of them. I want to
extend my heartfelt thanks to all the families
for their unwavering support in every aspect. I
also want to wish all the dads, grandpas, and
uncles a fantastic Fathers Day! "Dads are eve-
ry childs first super hero in disguise." ~ Ms. Liz
Ms. Sibyl and Cindy Bos Toddler Class
We hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial
Day Weekend and look forward to our last
month together in our 2024-2025
school year. The toddlers have been
enjoying many play activities and ex-
plorations together. They join as a
group to chase bubbles, search for
butterflies, build sandcastles, hide in boxes,
prepare food for each other, care for baby
dolls, chase each other around the yard, dance
together, and so much more. It brings us such
joy to see them having such a great time at
school and with one another.
This month, we will keep things simple and con-
tinue to reinforce the childrens positive play
experiences and interactions as we share this
month of June and summer fun together.
It is hard to believe that the school year is
coming to an end. Miss Sybil, Miss Shirley, and
I truly appreciate your childrens unique per-
sonalities, forming special bonds with them and
growing closer to you and your families. Most
of our toddlers will be transitioning to the pre-
school class in July. Although it is hard for us
to let go, we know they are ready to move on to
the next phase of their school journey. It is
amazing to think of all the growth and develop-
ment we have witnessed over this past year.
We are thankful that we will still have a chance
to offer a hug in passing or visit with them at
the courtyard window after they have transi-
tioned to their new class. The toddlers have
formed some special friendships, and, along
with that, visiting their new class and teachers
during the Week of Welcomewill surely help
to make it a smooth transition for them.
Thank you all for the privilege of partnering
with you in your childs care and learning.
Many blessings! Cindy Bo
